September 7th Letter

Well what a week!
Nicolas was baptised on Saturday and it was such a great day, the kid was saying the whole time how it was the best day of his life. He was waiting to be baptised for a little more than a year. He just needed a little more confidence in asking, a little more time, and now he is going to be a golden missionary in a few years. Such a blessing to be here when he was able to be baptised. His girlfriend is how he got to know the church a little better. His future father in law baptised him and it was a cool thing.

Mabel and Nicolas were both confirmed on Sunday, and then after they both shared their testimonies as well as another recent convert Blanca. The three are basically the only converts here and they all gave super power testimonies. It was a cool experience.

So this week will be changes. My Comp only has six weeks left in the mish so its possible he leaves the area hopefully not, but we will see.

So with today apparently being Labor day I feel my thoughts are appropriate for this week. Three scriptures. the First is Moroni 9:6 I love this verse in Spanish its a little bit stronger, but in English its good too.

And now, my beloved son, notwithstanding their hardness, let us labor diligently; for if we should  cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation; for we have a labor to perform whilst in   this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God.

And the other that I want to share is 3 Nephi 20: 40-43

40 And then shall they say: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings unto them, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings unto them of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth!
41 And then shall a cry go forth: Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch not that which is unclean; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord.

42 For ye shall not go out with haste nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel shall be your rearward.

43 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.

Lets get it done. It doesn't have to be with haste but its gotta be done I know that we are getting ever closer. The thing that is really important in this life is what Elder ViƱas of the 70 taught us this week he told us "Peace unto you." He then told us that what really matters is that we can see an increase in the strength of Zion that we are preparing the Vinyard for the second coming . We must labor.

Love you guys Elder Biesinger
